You put it on dry skin before you get in the shower and massage it in and then wash it off in the shower and finish off with a layer of positivity shower gel - heavenly !!! You feel like you been to a spa after - the runny consistency is to help glide it on dry skin - if you read the product directions it tells you this

Perfect product for an at home

I've been switching off between this product and the body reviver for the past week, and can't say enough good things about both. It gently removes dead/dry skin without being too abrasive and has a pepperminty scent that really wakes my skin up. Leaves my skin smooth and prepped for my moisturizers and body oils.

Poor consistency

Love all ESPA products but this is far below your usual quality. The new bottles are difficult to open & the consistency of the product is so thin that it freely pours out of the bottle & runs through fingers wasting product. If I actually manage to get the product on my skin it’s too watery to actually feel any benefits.
