Due to rapid growth, THG is looking to recruit a Manufacturing Maintenance & Reliability Manager who will be responsible for the maintenance and reliability of all assets within the manufacturing department, providing both a reactive and pro-active, multi-skilled maintenance service on all equipment. You will be based at our site in Frome and will report to the Head of Engineering.


Position Responsibilities:

• Develop a high-performing Maintenance & Reliability team with a culture of continuous improvement through effective leadership and management to deliver operational excellence.

• Drive improvements in plant availability and performance, including costs, through the implementation of company engineering maintenance best practices across the manufacturing site.

• Own, develop and evolve the engineering Maintenance and Reliability strategy, implementing a common platform.

• As part of the site management team, develop an annual maintenance forecast, highlighting operational constraints and the value adding performance that Engineering can make.

• Liaise between functions to ensure team work, consistency, co-ordination and best practice to eliminate losses from poor practices or communication and to expedite learning.

• Create and manage Engineering budgets, both capital and operational.

• Produce weekly reports covering metrics and performance of the department and team.

• Line management of Engineering staff

• Recruit, train and develop the Engineering Technicians and Apprentices


Position Requirements

• Degree or NVQ4 in a relevant Engineering discipline or served a full engineering indentured apprenticeship.

• Significant practical engineering experience including a supervisory role managing people.

• Strong Leader with demonstrable experience in delivering results in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Experience in the development and implementation of a best practise Maintenance and Reliability strategy.

• You will have experience in leading teams that display a strong culture of H&S and will have led various safety initiatives throughout your career.

• As a results-driven individual, you will be relentless in your approach for excellence and will have strong influencing skills to ensure others are fully engaged in your approach.

• You will possess excellent reporting skills and will communicate effectively across all levels of the business.

• Continuous Improvement will be at the heart of your work and you’ll be able to demonstrate how this approach has delivered success in other roles.

• Experience of working to appropriate health & safety standards and regulations.

• Excellent customer facing skills / customer focus.

• Experience in troubleshooting installation, fault finding, and repairs.

As a formulation chemist you will be required to;

• Initiate the development process on new products;

• Develop/reformulate robust quality formulas meeting marketing's expectations.

• Lead the product development from lab to scale up.

• Perform variety of laboratory tests including stability and compatibility.

• Evaluate product properties through instrumental and other appropriate testing.

• Review materials and finished goods to determine chemical and physical properties.

• Create and/or review and approve technical documents to support developmental projects (i.e. ingredient statements, manufacturing formula card, cost formulas).

• Develop manufacturing processes for development projects

• Develop specifications for new and/or reformulated products

• Source and approve new and/or alternate raw materials.

You may also be required to coordinate the development of cosmetic products with co-manufacturers. You will;

• Ensure they meet the team’s expectations relating to performance, quality and safety.

• Lead the development process from briefing, formulation approvals, assisting with raw material and new technology research.

• Coordinate all cosmetic testing, support with the substantiation of product claims and maintain adverse event reporting processes.


POSITION REQUIREMENTS

    Position Summary

    The Assistant Spa Manager is required to support the Spa Manager to ensure the smooth running of the department on a day to day basis. The Assistant Spa Manager will be a champion in providing guests with a luxury spa experience which exceeds expectations. Drive and lead the operational and financial direction of the spa ensuring complete viability and maximising all opportunities and resources. Work closely with the Spa Manager establishing and maintaining marketing objectives, operating criteria, programming, budgeting, VIP guest visits, staff relations and training.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    · Ensure the smooth running of the department and acting as Spa Manager on Duty when on shift.

    · Responsible for the overall management and performance of the Spa in the absence of the Spa Manager.

    · Ensure high standards of professionalism, customer service and optimum financial performance from Associates at all times.

    Description of Responsibilities

    ESPA at Baha Mar’s Operations Manager will be responsible for driving the revenue of all business centers in the spa through effective scheduling, yield management and sales. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
