Optimal Skin Instant Facial

I had a lovely trial tube of the Tri Action Instant Facial - but as this seemed to not be available, I ordered this one instead. It is fine when you first get it out of the pump but as soon as you put it on your skin, it smells horrible. I am so disappointed. I would not but it again, because of the smell, despite it making my skin feel nice. It is a lot of money and I have no idea why it is made to smell like that - as others have said, there is a definite fishy smell. As an aromatherapist - I can not for the life of me understand what makes that horrible odour.

As an avid lover of Espa I treated myself to this purchase, I chatted with an online agent to ensure it was the right choice for me. The worst thing is the smell of rotting fish, it is really strong and makes my stomach turn, and even then I cannot feel or see any benefit. I am most disappointed and am unable to return or replace even though an online agent agreed this was for me. I am unsure as to how or why this has become an Espa product as everything else from Espa Spa is a beautiful product. Such a waste of hard earned money.

I bought this product as my skin needed a pick me up but I wasn’t sure exactly what it needed. This product INSTANTLY brightened, soothed and evened out my skin texture and tone.  I noticed a difference the morning after applying and every morning since.  This product also smells incredible too!  I can’t recommend this enough! My first ESPA product and definitely won’t be my last now :) 

I don't understand if I have the same product as per the reviews on here, yet it is the same. I cannot use mine as I find it smells of fish, it really is a very strong smell of algae and mackerel put together, I love ESPA products but this one came as a shock and I don't understand whether my product has maybe gone off as others are commenting on the lovely smell, yet when I put this on both my daughter and husband comment that they can smell fish and I know it's me!

I have just started to use this instart facial as i continue to build my ESpa collection for mature skin. I used it for the first time and wow absolutely wow. The smell is totally bliss and my face looks glowing, well rested and smoother. This has got to be one of my super hero products from ESpa. It makes my skin look the best version of itself. I shall continue to use this, it has slotted into my skincare regime like it should be there. Thank you ESpa, i love this. Highly recommended.

great packaging, but the product is not for my skin, I feel skin tightness, dryness.

I’ve been using this product for a month and I have been happy with the way it makes my skin feel. However, I was just rereading the ingredients, and was surprised to see that it includes Benzyl Salicylate, or Salicylic acid. Pregnant women are told to avoid products with salicylic acid. Yet, it is not at all obvious from the product description that this ingredient features in the product. I’m in my first trimester and am quite shocked to find out that I’ve been unwittingly been using a product that I must avoid. Any products with salicylic acid or retinol should be clearly labeled as such to avoid risk to pregnant women. 

I use this before I moisturise. Feels great, smells nice and none greasy. Love it.

Hi  Bought this as part of a set of the tri active range. Found that this product does not give good coverage. The dispenser broke on first use, so having to put product onto fingers to then put on my face, with the result that I have nearly used up the product. See/feel no difference in skin tone/texture
