Wonderful moisturizer
This moisturizer is amazing. Very hydrating without being too heavy and leaves skin feeling soft and smooth. I have dry to normal skin and past cremes have caused small white pimples along my lower cheeks. This one doesn’t clog pores!

I have been using Espa for the last 25 years, I have always used the replenishing moisturiser for my everyday routine but since it has been sold out for the last 6 months or so I called to speak to an adviser to find out what was the closest to it as the pro moisturiser I was using instead just wasn't as well suited to my skin. The very helpful adviser said that this was the nearest to it so I ordered a jar. I was very excited to use it, so as soon as it arrived I redid my face for the day only to find it was gritty, more like a skin polish than a moisturiser. The colour was brownish cream and it smells revolting. Needless to say I cleaned it straight off and haven't used it since. I did ask my mother to try it without telling her my thoughts and she said exactly the same thing. Could it be that this is a faulty jar? I can't imagine why a moisturiser has an exfoliant in it, I'd love an explanation from Espa please on this.

I am a great fan of ESPA products and use them regularly for my face routine - but not this one, I’m afraid! Have to agree with a previous reviewer that the moisturiser turns gritty when applied. Also, I am not sure if this was a rogue jar, but it smells terrible - almost like rotting cabbage, and the colour is an off-white/light brown shade. I am finding it very difficult to keep using. ESPA - would be grateful for a response here please!

Disappointing
I have used Espa products for 20 years and have always loved them but I am sorry to say I was disappointed with this moisturiser. I cleanse and tone with Espa products as usual but when I put the moisturiser on it turns into gritty substance on my skin almost like an exfoliator. I can't fathom out why or is it supposed to do this? I only tried this as I can't afford the Espa moisturiser I have been using for 20 years anymore as the price has gone up considerably.

Nourishing and hydrating cream that leaves the skin supple and glowing. The texture is quite rich so would be ideal for dehydrated/ dry skin. However, normal skin will still benefit the soothing effect.
