Very disappointed.

I second the opinions of the previous review. This is the first Espa Product I’ve been disappointed with, and had a bad experiencing using.  I too used to use the ProDefence as my daily SPF and loved it. I also use and love the ProMoisturiser. So I had high hopes for this product as a replacement for the ProDefence which is no longer sold. Unlike the ProDefence, this SPF actually burned my skin, and it took an entire day for the redness to fade away. The reaction my skin had with this was as if it was a hair removal cream.  I know chemical sun screens can be tricky with sensitive and reactive skin, and I’ve had a lot of difficulty with sunscreens over the years. But the ProDefence was fantastic. Please bring it back, ESPA! It’s so much better for my skin.

Hoped dashed!

I love the pro optimal moisturiser but as no SPF I had to add the pro defence which as SPF 15 is ok for winter but not for summer. I was thrilled when my favourite moisturiser was now available in SPF30. I’ve tried it twice now, each time I had to wash it off. I found it greasy, I could feel it sitting on top of my skin making it feel sticky and looking shiny. It doesn’t have the same fresh smell as  the moisturiser. First ESPA product that has been disappointing.
