Optimal Skin Pro-Moisturiser SPF 30
5Im so glad ESPA bought this product out. I have used the Optimal Skin Pro-Moisturiser for a long time. Usually moisturisers with SPF in would cause my skin to break out so i was a little worried but I have been using this for a year and my skin continues to be clear and well moisturised with the added value of sun protection.

5i have been looking for a moisture with spf that is suitable for oily sensitive skin this product is perfect
Report this reviewGreat to have SPF now
5I was worried about the early reviews of this as I used to have this pro-moisturiser without the SPF. There is a slight difference for me between the two in feel (I think this was is ever so slightly creamier) but I actually prefer the feel of this one plus it will help protect my skin!

5I almost didn't buy this product based on the first reviews but I've not identified any change from the no SPF version. It has the same smell and feels exactly the same to apply. Can only trust that the sun protection is effective.

5Perfect for everyday use as it’s lightweight and not greasy. Leaves a nice glow and doesn’t feel heavy on the skin like other SPF products I’ve tried!Â
Report this reviewVery disappointed.
1I second the opinions of the previous review. This is the first Espa Product I’ve been disappointed with, and had a bad experiencing using. I too used to use the ProDefence as my daily SPF and loved it. I also use and love the ProMoisturiser. So I had high hopes for this product as a replacement for the ProDefence which is no longer sold. Unlike the ProDefence, this SPF actually burned my skin, and it took an entire day for the redness to fade away. The reaction my skin had with this was as if it was a hair removal cream. I know chemical sun screens can be tricky with sensitive and reactive skin, and I’ve had a lot of difficulty with sunscreens over the years. But the ProDefence was fantastic. Please bring it back, ESPA! It’s so much better for my skin.

1I love the pro optimal moisturiser but as no SPF I had to add the pro defence which as SPF 15 is ok for winter but not for summer. I was thrilled when my favourite moisturiser was now available in SPF30. I’ve tried it twice now, each time I had to wash it off. I found it greasy, I could feel it sitting on top of my skin making it feel sticky and looking shiny. It doesn’t have the same fresh smell as  the moisturiser. First ESPA product that has been disappointing.Â
